View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On Friday the 2nd, the whole country will be cloudy, and rain will fall nationwide on Saturday.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, with raindrops falling in the coastal areas of Jeonnam, the southern coast of Gyeongnam, and the West Sea 5 Islands. The daytime high temperature will range from 13 to 24 degrees Celsius, with a daily temperature difference of about 15 degrees, so health management should be taken seriously.
Due to a low-pressure system developing near Shanghai, China, and moving northeast, rain will begin tonight from Jeju Island and the southwestern coast of Jeonnam. By tomorrow morning, rain will also fall in the Seoul metropolitan area, northern inland Gangwon, Chungnam, Jeonbuk, inland Jeonnam, and western Gyeongnam, expanding nationwide from the afternoon.
Expected precipitation from tonight until the afternoon of the 4th is ▲30 to 80 mm in the central region, Jeju mountainous areas, and eastern and southern Jeju, ▲10 to 60 mm in the southern region, northern and western Jeju, West Sea 5 Islands, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo. Up to 100 mm of rain is forecasted in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island.
The Korea Meteorological Administration explained, "In areas where rain falls until the 4th, visibility will be reduced and roads may be slippery. Especially in the mountainous areas of Gangwon on the day after tomorrow, temperatures will drop below freezing, causing icy and slippery roads. Please pay special attention to traffic safety."
The minimum temperature on the morning of the 3rd will be 9 to 15 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures will be around 20 degrees Celsius, 2 to 5 degrees lower than yesterday in most regions nationwide. Gangwon Yeongdong will be cool at around 15 degrees Celsius due to easterly winds.

Dryness warnings are in effect for Seoul, southwestern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, inland Chungcheong, and inland Gyeongbuk, so caution is needed to prevent various fires such as forest fires.
Jeju Island, where a strong wind warning is in effect, will experience very strong winds with speeds of 10 to 16 m/s and maximum gusts exceeding 20 m/s until the afternoon of the 3rd. The southern coastal areas will also have strong winds blowing at 8 to 14 m/s, so facility management should be carefully monitored.
Along the Gyeongsang coastal area, southern coast of Jeonnam, and Jeju Island, high waves caused by swell will overflow coastal roads and rocky shores. In the southern East Sea and eastern South Sea offshore areas, very strong winds and high waves are expected until the afternoon, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution.
