China "Considering Participation" in Biden's Climate Summit Invitation
[Asia Economy Reporter Joselgina] China has revealed that it is considering whether to participate in the climate summit hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden.
According to Yonhap News, Hua Chunying, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a regular briefing on the 1st, when asked about participation in the climate summit, "We have already been invited and are seriously considering it."
Spokesperson Hua emphasized, "The issue of climate change requires the international community to continuously strengthen communication and cooperation," adding, "China will also continue to make efforts to respond to climate change."
