Gwangju City Conducts Integrated Public Institution Recruitment in the First Half of the Year

According to Gwangju City on the 1st, the scale of the integrated recruitment in the first half is 87 employees from 14 public institutions, and the integrated written exam will be held on May 8.

Applicants can apply online only from the 19th to the 23rd on the recruitment site of each institution on the Gwangju City public institution integrated recruitment homepage. The written exam locations will be separately announced through the integrated recruitment homepage and Gwangju City homepage.
Detailed information related to the exam, such as eligibility and subjects by institution, can be checked from 11 a.m. on the 2nd through the announcement on the Gwangju City public institution integrated recruitment homepage, Gwangju City homepage, and the respective public institution homepages.
Selection of written exam passers, document screening, interviews, and final successful candidates will be conducted independently by the public institutions.
Gwangju City has been conducting integrated written exams twice a year, divided into the first and second halves, under the city's supervision since 2019 to enhance fairness and transparency in public institution recruitment, which were previously conducted individually by each public institution.
In particular, from this year, the ratio of external interviewers in the interview exams conducted by each institution has been significantly increased from the previous 60% to over 80%.
Kim Jong-hwa, the city’s personnel policy officer, said, “Along with the integrated recruitment of public institution employees, we will strengthen fairness and transparency in recruitment by also conducting integrated recruitment for city public workers starting this year.”
