'Launch of KB Green Wave ESG Excellent Corporate Loan'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 1st that it has launched the 'KB Green Wave ESG Excellent Corporate Loan,' which provides financial support to companies with outstanding ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
Benchmarking sustainable-linked loans from global advanced banks, this product offers preferential benefits if companies meet the ESG evaluation criteria selected by KB Kookmin Bank and internal credit rating requirements. Depending on the ESG evaluation criteria met, a preferential interest rate of up to 0.4 percentage points is provided, and the loan limit for facility funds is preferentially increased. The total loan support limit is 1 trillion KRW. Additionally, preferential benefits are offered when selected as participants in the KB Good Job Employment Fair, and priority support is provided when applying for KB Wise Consulting.
Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank and the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute signed a business agreement on the 12th to promote green finance and foster and support excellent environmental companies. KB Kookmin Bank receives environmental evaluation ratings of companies through the institute's green management corporate financial support system and provides preferential interest rates to outstanding companies.
