DB Insurance Participates in National Assembly ESG Forum "Leading ESG Management"
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] DB Insurance announced on the 31st that it attended the inauguration ceremony of the National Assembly ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Forum launched on the 29th and will actively participate in its future activities.
The National Assembly ESG Forum is the largest ESG policy consultative body in Korea, with 128 members including lawmakers, private financial companies, economic organizations, and research institutions participating to establish ESG policies and legal systems. At the event, 11 institutions from the financial sector were invited, and DB Insurance was the only company from the insurance industry to attend.
Kim Jeong-nam, CEO of DB Insurance, has recently established an ESG Committee under the board of directors to oversee company-wide ESG management activities, based on the philosophy that "the future growth of companies depends on ESG management."
