UNICEF Hampyeong-gun Supporters Association Holds Member Unity Time at Drive-in Theater
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Members and families of the UNICEF Hampyeong County Support Association (Chairman Lee Jaegap) held a time of member harmony through a group movie viewing at the Hampyeong Drive-in Theater, the association announced on the 28th.
This group viewing was arranged to revitalize members and their families and promote friendship, as social distancing measures such as bans on gatherings of more than five people have been prolonged due to the continued spread of COVID-19.
Chairman Lee Jaegap said, “It was regrettable that we could not have exchange time such as meetings among members for a long time due to the continued ban on gatherings,” and added, “It was good to have a time of harmony and friendship, even if non-face-to-face, through the drive-in theater.”
The Hampyeong Drive-in Theater provides convenience by allowing groups to pre-arrange the movie they want to watch and view it during weekday hours if the group booking (social, religious groups, associations) is for 30 or more people.
With the increase in non-face-to-face activities due to COVID-19, the Hampyeong Drive-in Theater has gained popularity, surpassing a cumulative 2,000 cars viewed as of the 20th, just 52 days after its opening.
