Shinhan Bank and the KBO, which signed the largest title sponsorship contract in domestic professional sports history in 2018, extended their sponsorship of the KBO League through 2021 despite difficulties such as games being held without spectators due to COVID-19 last year, demonstrating the coexistence and harmony between a corporation and a sports league.
Shinhan Bank and the KBO have strengthened their partnership to ensure mutual growth between Shinhan Bank and professional baseball by enhancing the joint sponsorship program carried out over three years, including the launch of KBO deposit products, financial service support for KBO-affiliated players, and joint fan voting for the All-Star game.
Additionally, Shinhan Bank plans to provide enjoyable content and events for baseball fans and customers through the Shinhan SOL application’s baseball-dedicated platform (SOL Baseball), along with KBO League broadcasts and stadium advertisements this year.
Jin Ok-dong, President of Shinhan Bank, said, "Shinhan Bank and the KBO will continue to walk together this year and become partners who bring joy to the public weary from COVID-19," adding, "We will strengthen the positive images of both organizations so that baseball fans associate the keywords KBO and professional baseball with Shinhan Bank."
