Hwasun-gun Accepts Additional Applications for 'Farmer and Fisherman Public Interest Allowance' Until the 9th of Next Month
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 26th that it will accept additional applications for the ‘Farmer and Fisherman Public Interest Allowance’ from the 29th of this month until the 9th of next month.
Farmers and fishermen who were unable to apply during the first application period last month can submit their application forms by the 9th of next month.
The eligibility for the Farmer and Fisherman Public Interest Allowance includes registered farm and fishery business operators who have had an address in Jeonnam Province since before December 31, 2019, and currently have an address in the county at the time of application. Duplicate benefits within one household are not allowed.
However, those with non-agricultural income exceeding 37 million KRW, government officials and public institution employees, and those who have fraudulently received subsidies such as direct payments are excluded from support.
The allowance amount is 600,000 KRW per year and is planned to be paid in Hwasun Love Gift Certificates.
The county expects that by paying the Farmer and Fisherman Public Interest Allowance through local currency (Hwasun Love Gift Certificates), it will prevent capital outflow from the region and help local self-employed businesses and small merchants, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.
