NH Investment & Securities Opens Popup Store 'NH Super Stock Market' Targeting MZ Generation
Providing a Unique Investment Shopping Experience and Video Consultation Service to Experience Stock Investment Like Shopping
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] NH Investment & Securities recently announced that it opened a popup store, ‘NH Super Stock Market,’ on the 26th at The Hyundai Seoul, a hot place in Yeouido, so that the MZ generation, who have been rapidly entering as new customers of securities firms, can directly experience the brand value.
NH Super Stock Market is located on the B2 floor of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido (108 Yeoui-daero, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul) and will operate for about six weeks until May 9. During this period, visiting customers can enjoy a unique experience of shopping for stocks displayed in a supermarket concept space as if putting them in a shopping cart and purchasing them.
Upon entry, visitors are provided with a mobile phone installed with a mock investment app. They can tag the NFC card placed next to the displayed stock name to purchase the stock and complete a mock investment within a seed money limit of 100 million KRW. All customers who complete the application will receive a free eco bag, and among them, 60 customers with the highest weekly returns will be selected over six weeks to receive a 100,000 KRW Hyundai Department Store gift certificate.
Additionally, customers who want individual consultations about the displayed stocks can use a separately prepared video consultation booth inside to receive non-face-to-face consultations. The video consultation is available on weekdays from 1 PM to 7 PM and on weekends from 10:30 AM to 7 PM (excluding lunch time from 1 PM to 2 PM).
The exhibition space is decorated with NH Investment & Securities’ unique brand colors, blue and yellow, emphasizing vibrancy to attract the attention of the MZ generation. A photo zone using NH Investment & Securities’ brand slogans has also been created to actively utilize it as a means of brand promotion. A hashtag event is also held where customers who upload internal photos and hashtags on Instagram receive a magnet as a gift.
Meanwhile, NH Investment & Securities declared a new brand vision and slogan in 2019, the year of its 50th anniversary. The brand slogan, ‘Investment becomes culture,’ means that investment should enrich our lives and become a familiar and easily accessible cultural act. To share this with customers, various popup stores have been operated. In the first year, ‘Seasonal Restaurant,’ which combined food and investment, was operated, and last year, ‘Cultural Cafe,’ a salon concept related to personal tastes, was run to share the company’s values and aspirations with customers.
