Despite companies recently facing difficulties in hiring and training due to COVID-19, IBK Industrial Bank has hired over 170 new employees in fields such as digital, global, and high school graduate talents to create youth jobs, and has been conducting a six-week online training program from February until next week.
President Yoon explained the bank's mission and vision, as well as IBK's outlook 10 years from now, urging the new employees to "develop the capabilities required as employees of a policy bank that supports small and medium-sized enterprises during every crisis."
He particularly quoted Walt Disney's famous saying, "We don't make money to make movies; we make movies to make money," emphasizing that "IBK also needs to maintain a profit base to support small and medium-sized enterprises." Additionally, he advised the new employees to envision the big picture of their future life journey and to have a motto that anchors their life.
