According to Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Im Jae-su) on the 25th, at around 11:48 PM on the 24th, a report was received requesting urgent transport to a hospital for Ms. A (83 years old, female) on Haedo Island, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, who was experiencing abdominal pain and vomiting due to cholelithiasis.
The Coast Guard dispatched a 100-ton patrol vessel and began transport at 11:53 PM from Unggok Dock on Haedo Island, carrying the patient and her guardian. They arrived at Bokho Dock on Anjwa-do, Sinan, at approximately 2:01 AM the next day, where the patient was safely handed over to the waiting 119 emergency medical team.
Ms. A, who was transported with the Coast Guard's prompt assistance, was moved to a hospital in the area for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
