Hana Financial Investment Appoints Eunhyung Lee as New CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Hana Financial Investment announced on the 24th that at the shareholders' meeting and board of directors held on the same day, Lee Eun-hyung was appointed as the new CEO.
In a message to employees, the new CEO emphasized that the current turbulent environment could be a crisis, but through proactive and agile strategic responses, it could become an important "growth point (生長點)" that creates new growth opportunities.
He stated, "We will focus on digital innovation such as developing our own digital asset management system and solutions. As a true mega investment bank (IB), we will strengthen our global competitiveness to achieve the next leap forward." He added, "We will nurture talent with practical capabilities and insights to harmonize digital innovation with the wisdom of our members and strengthen our human assets." He also expressed his commitment to focusing on ESG management.
CEO Lee urged, "If all members of Hana Financial Investment unite with the spirit of 'Bupgo Changsin (法古創新)'?learning from the past to create innovation?we will be able to further develop the excellent achievements made so far and bring about innovative changes." He pledged, "I promise to communicate with all employees, customers, and the market with a humble attitude."
CEO Lee previously served as Vice President of Global Strategy at Hana Financial Group and Vice Chairman of China Minsheng Investment Group, and has been Vice Chairman of Hana Financial Group Global since last year.
