According to the Government Ethics Committee for Public Officials on the 25th, the chairpersons of city and provincial councils were found to have assets below the average of approximately 1.4 billion KRW reported by those required to disclose their assets. Not a single individual reported assets exceeding 1 billion KRW. Han Geum-seok, Chairperson of the Gangwon Provincial Council, reported 711.75 million KRW, which was relatively high.

Jwa Nam-su, Chairperson of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Council, reported negative assets of 20.48 million KRW, the lowest among them. Additionally, Lee Tae-hwan of the Sejong Special Self-Governing City Council, Kim Han-jong of the Jeollanam-do Provincial Council, and Kim Ha-yong of the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Council each reported assets in the range of 100 million KRW.
