April Bojogeum24 Phase 1 Official Launch Ahead of 'Phase 2 Construction Project Kickoff Meeting'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The ‘Bojogeum24’ service, which allows users to check and apply for national subsidies all at once, will be expanded by the end of the year to provide customized guidance for services offered by the local governments where users reside.
On the 24th, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that it will hold a kickoff meeting for the ‘National Subsidy Customized Service Construction Project’ on the 25th to build the second phase of ‘Bojogeum24.’ Scheduled for official launch in April, Bojogeum24 is a policy that enables users to check all available benefits at once by accessing ‘Government24’ and has been piloted since February in 13 cities, counties, and districts.
Once the second phase of the ‘Bojogeum24’ service is implemented, users will be able to receive consolidated guidance not only on the approximately 300 services from central government ministries currently available in the first phase but also on various services provided by their local governments that apply to them. Additionally, the number of services that can be applied for online will be significantly expanded from 25 to 75.
The scope of personalized guidance through ‘Bojogeum24’ will be expanded to include services for family members living together, not just the individual user. The ‘Bojogeum24’ service, currently accessible via PC, mobile app, and visits to community centers, will also be linked with home visit services to expand the channels for the ‘Visiting Subsidy Service.’

Han Chang-seop, Director of Government Innovation Organization at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, said, “When Bojogeum24 is launched nationwide next month, many citizens will be able to receive government subsidy benefits applicable to them without missing out,” and added, “By the end of the year, through the second phase project, we will make every effort to ensure that citizens can receive local government benefits more easily and conveniently.”
