Chairman Kim said, "In fact, regarding Oh becoming the mayoral candidate, I think I have contributed about 90% of what I could do since I came to the People Power Party," and added, "If I add the remaining 10% and help Oh get elected as mayor, I think I have done everything I could by coming to the People Power Party."

Additionally, Chairman Kim expressed a positive stance on the issue of Ahn serving as co-chairman of Oh's joint election countermeasures committee. He said, "When forming the Seoul mayoral election countermeasures committee, there will probably be an agreement between candidate Oh and candidate Ahn," and added, "If candidate Oh reorganizes the Seoul mayoral election committee, he will be able to invite candidate Ahn."
