The animal rights organization 'CARE' posted a video of the incident on their official social media account on the 21st under the title "High school student pushes pet cat off third floor."
The video shows the cat barely sitting on the building's window frame. The inner window was closed, leaving the cat unable to move, creating a dangerous situation where it could have fallen from the building.
CARE explained the situation, saying, "The cat was sitting on the window frame, trembling and crying. The window was firmly closed and the door was not open. Inside, the lights were on as if someone was present, and although the window was opened the next day, the cat was reluctant to enter indoors."
They continued, "Suddenly, a hand appeared and pushed the cat off. The cat fell to the first-floor ground, which was piled with discarded items, furniture, and metal objects."
The cat that fell from the building is reported to have suffered severe leg injuries. CARE stated, "The cat's leg was severely torn, with bones exposed. If the abdomen had hit first, it could have been pierced and died. The cat is showing symptoms of labored breathing and gagging, so a detailed examination is needed to check for internal bleeding."
Netizens expressed their anger, saying, "Please punish them severely," "They need to experience the same thing to understand, this is so chilling," "Are they a psychopath?" and "The cat is so pitiful."
