[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seong Jang-hyun, mayor of Yongsan-gu, participated in the 'Support Challenge for the Restoration of Democracy in Myanmar' on the 22nd at his office in the district office.
This was to show solidarity and support to the people of Myanmar who have been continuing protests against the military coup that occurred last month.

Seong Jang-hyun, mayor of Yongsan-gu, said, "I strongly support the struggle of the Myanmar people against military oppression," adding, "The streets are soaked with the blood and tears of countless citizens. I hope there will be no more sacrifices."
