Hyundai Department Store Duty Free Launches Domestic Marketing... "Customer Partnership with Korean Air"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Hyundai Department Store Duty Free is launching marketing efforts targeting domestic customers. They are collaborating with Korean Air on customer partnership marketing and introducing a new membership exclusively for cosmetics purchasers.
On the 22nd, Hyundai Department Store Duty Free announced that it signed a business agreement to promote customer partnership marketing with Korean Air. Under this agreement, Korean Air Skypass members will receive various benefits equivalent to Hyundai Department Store Duty Free VIP status. Skypass members who verify their membership at the information desks in offline stores such as Hyundai Department Store Duty Free Trade Center Branch, Dongdaemun Branch, and Incheon Airport Branch will receive an H prepaid card (up to 40,000 KRW) and discount vouchers (110,000 KRW) on the spot. On the Hyundai Department Store Internet Duty Free, members will be given reward points worth 200,000 KRW.
Additionally, Skypass elite members will receive benefits equivalent to the Black VIP tier of Hyundai Department Store Duty Free. These include up to 20% discounts at offline stores, priority pickup service at airport delivery counters allowing them to collect items without waiting in line, and special vouchers. Starting in the second half of this year, customers who spend over $100 on duty-free shopping at Hyundai Department Store Duty Free online and offline will also earn Korean Air Skypass mileage.
Hyundai Department Store Duty Free is also launching a cosmetics purchaser-exclusive membership program called ‘H.COS Club.’ This membership offers various benefits to customers purchasing beauty products such as cosmetics and perfumes on the Hyundai Department Store Internet Duty Free website, and anyone can join through the website.
H.COS Club members are assigned tiers based on their purchase history over the past two years, with various benefits provided according to their tier when buying cosmetics. Representative benefits include 10,000 KRW mobile reward points that can be used like cash, discount coupons up to 5% by tier, and reward points up to 5% of the purchase amount. Customers who join the membership and enter the event by the 30th of next month will have a chance to win prizes such as a Dyson Airwrap (1 winner), Silk’n massager (2 winners), and 10,000 H points (20 winners).
