KOTRA Hosts '2021 Hanguk Excellent Products Exhibition'... "Held Worldwide"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] KOTRA announced on the 22nd that it has officially launched the 2021 'Online and Offline Korea Excellent Products Exhibition.'
This year's Korea Excellent Products Exhibition will be held sequentially around the world, starting today with the Latin America region, followed by △China in April △Southeast Asia and Oceania in April-May △Japan in June △Southwest Asia, Middle East, and Africa in June-July △Europe in November.
Considering the COVID-19 situation, KOTRA stated that this year’s overseas regional product exhibitions will be conducted both online and offline. Also, in the first half of this year, acknowledging the difficulty of overseas business trips for companies, KOTRA’s overseas trade offices will operate product experience-type exhibition showcases and even handle on-site consultations with buyers. The first Korea Excellent Products Showcase of this year will be held for four days starting from the 14th of next month in connection with the Hanoi Expo in Vietnam.
KOTRA will start a 'Smart Export Support Service' including video consultation arrangements by utilizing newly developed trade artificial intelligence (AI) at this exhibition. This service will first be introduced at the 'AI Beauty Pouch' event in the beauty sector. Kits will be sent in advance to buyers recommended by the big data platform so that they can experience beauty samples, enabling buyers to test the products and then have video consultations with domestic companies. From sample dispatch to post-video consultation management, dedicated exhibition staff at KOTRA’s overseas trade offices will be responsible.
