Gyeongnam Province-Masang University-NC Dinos, Sports Industry Promotion MOU
Support for Professional Talent Development and Startup Assistance through Activation of Local Professional Sports
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] On the 19th, Gyeongnam Province signed a tripartite business agreement with Masan University and NC Dinos at Masan University to foster the sports industry in Gyeongnam.
The signing ceremony was attended by No Youngsik, Director of Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Gyeongnam Province, Lee Hak-eun, President of Masan University, Bae Seokhyun, Head of NC Dinos Headquarters, and officials from each institution.
According to this agreement, the three institutions will mutually cooperate to foster the sports industry from short- and mid-term perspectives, including support for professional sports revitalization, joint use of university facilities and equipment, support for sports industry professionals and startups, and community contribution activities.
Gyeongnam Province (Support Center) will provide various services such as spring camp (sports rehabilitation and recovery programs) to the NC Dinos team. Masan University will support the cultivation of specialized local talent and the joint use of facilities and equipment. The NC Dinos team will collaborate on community contribution activities such as player fan sign events and baseball tournament support.
The province plans to foster the sports industry based on this agreement and expects job creation resulting from the revitalization of professional sports.

No Youngsik, Director of Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Gyeongnam Province, said, "Due to COVID-19, the sports service industry market has been greatly contracted due to restrictions on the number of spectators," and added, "We expect this to be a good opportunity to foster a professional sports industry unique to Gyeongnam by utilizing the various contents owned by NC Dinos and university facilities."
