Kim Sam-ho, Gwangsan District Mayor, Listens to Business Difficulties at On-site Meeting
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the afternoon of the 18th that it held an on-site meeting at The Gwangseong Logistics Co., Ltd. located in Pyeongdong Industrial Complex.
The meeting was attended by Kim Sam-ho, Mayor of Gwangsan-gu, Park Dong-ho, CEO of The Gwangseong Logistics, executives and employees, and officials from the Gwangsan-gu Corporate Doctor Center.
At the meeting, Mayor Kim listened to the difficulties faced by companies and requested the Gwangsan-gu Corporate Doctor Center to seek related solutions.
He emphasized, "Gwangsan-gu, where 60% of Gwangju's economic power is concentrated, is an economic city," and added, "Let's find and implement good ways to revitalize the local economy."
CEO Park Dong-ho said, "We are planning to allow local residents who run online shopping malls to utilize the headquarters' logistics space," and requested, "Please create a city that is good for business."
The Gwangseong Logistics, a specialized logistics service company including transportation, was established in 1966 and has received awards such as the Minister of Construction and Transportation and the Gwangju Metropolitan City Mayor's Commendation. In 2019, it was designated as a management innovation-type small and medium enterprise.
