Yeosu City "Youth Culture Revitalization" Recruiting Youth Community Activity Teams
Up to 1 Million Won Support for 10 Teams... Applications Open Until the 2nd of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu City (Mayor Kwon Oh-bong) announced on the 17th that it will promote a youth community activity support project to revitalize local youth culture.
The youth community support project is a program that provides up to 1 million KRW in activity funds to autonomous groups of young people who share common interests such as social issues or youth activities.
From May to October, participants are expected to conduct research activities in areas of interest such as career exploration, culture and arts, and local issues. Especially this year, plans for non-face-to-face meetings will be required in preparation for the spread of COVID-19.
Eligible participants are community groups composed of three or more young people aged 19 to 39 residing in Yeosu City.
Youth who wish to participate should form a team and submit the required documents by visiting the Yeosu City Youth Support Center (2nd floor of Jungang Market) or applying via email by the 2nd of next month.
The city plans to select the target teams through document and interview evaluations next month.
