Government Extends Special Travel Advisory Due to COVID-19 Spread Until Next Month 16th
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] The government extended the special travel advisory issued on the 17th due to the spread of COVID-19.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it has reissued the special travel advisory for all overseas travel by Korean nationals to all countries and regions, extending it until April 16.
The special travel advisory is issued for urgent short-term risks. It corresponds to travel alert level 2 (exercise caution) or higher and level 3 (recommend evacuation) or lower.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been extending the special travel advisory since it was first issued on March 23 last year due to the COVID-19 situation.
