Prosecution Appeals Suspended Sentence in First Trial of Singer Wheesung on Propofol Use Charges
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seok-jin] The prosecution has appealed the first trial verdict of singer Hweseong, who is on trial for administering propofol.
According to the legal community on the 16th, the Andong Branch of the Daegu District Prosecutors' Office appealed the first trial verdict of Hweseong (real name Choi Hweseong), who was sentenced to probation.
Hweseong was accused of administering propofol multiple times in December 2019, and the Gyeongbuk Police Agency booked Hweseong without detention and sent him to the prosecution with an indictment opinion in April last year.
