On-site Officials' Repetitive Tasks Automated... Issuance Time Reduced to One-Third
Complete 7 Required Issuance Steps with a Single Button Click
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] A field civil servant in charge of civil complaints has attracted attention by developing a program that automates repetitive document issuance and input processes to reduce workload.
Namhae-eup Administrative Welfare Center in Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 15th that it developed a program that automatically issues family relationship registration documents and distributed it to all civil complaint teams in the town and township within the jurisdiction.
This program was created by Kim Minseok, a civil complaint officer of Namhae-eup, using Python, automating simple and repetitive processes involved in issuing various documents.
The program can perform seven steps required for issuing family relationship registration documents with a single button click and includes features such as automatically retrieving the names and resident registration numbers of other family members.
Thanks to these advantages, the time required to issue family relationship registration documents was reduced from 1 minute to 20 seconds, cutting it to one-third, thereby reducing the workload fatigue of civil complaint officers and enabling the provision of high-quality administrative services to civil petitioners.
Officer Kim is continuously updating the program.
He plans to add functions that automatically perform input procedures necessary for issuing various documents such as tax payment certificates and income amount certificates by linking with the civil complaint processing operation window system and redistribute the program.
