[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Seobu Fire Station (Chief Lee Cheontak) is publicly recruiting '2021 First Half Volunteer Firefighters' until the 29th for citizens interested in community safety and volunteer activities.
The Volunteer Firefighters are a volunteer organization that leads community safety culture and assists fire station duties.
They assist firefighting activities during disasters such as fires, and during normal times, they engage in activities such as fire prevention, forest fire caution, and fire truck right-of-way campaigns.
This recruitment is for 19 people, and applicants must be residents living or residing in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, aged between 20 and under 51.
Applicants working at stable workplaces in Seo-gu with a strong spirit of sacrifice and volunteerism are preferred, especially those with qualifications related to firefighting skills, education, and those holding medical doctor, nurse, or emergency medical technician certifications.
Applications can be submitted by mail or email to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, and selection is made through document screening and interviews.
