[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] It has been reported that Wolsong Unit 4 (a 700,000 kW pressurized heavy water reactor nuclear power plant) is undergoing recovery after a decrease in output due to a component malfunction.
According to Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Wolsong Nuclear Power Headquarters on the 13th, the reactor output of Wolsong Unit 4 automatically decreased to 60% at around 6:41 PM on the 12th due to a malfunction in the reactor shutdown rod control card component.
