Jinju City Selects 20 Outstanding Lifelong Learning Institutions and Study Clubs Programs for This Year
30 Million KRW Support for Continuous Lifelong Learning Activities
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 10th that it will provide 30 million KRW in project funds to five lifelong learning institutions (organizations) and 15 learning clubs selected through a public contest for the Lifelong Learning Institution (Organization) and Learning Club Excellent Program Support Project.
This project selected 20 support targets through a public contest and provides differential support ranging from 1 million KRW to 2 million KRW per location depending on the scale and nature of the project.
The 20 selected lifelong learning institutions (organizations) and learning clubs will enhance their expertise through continuous learning activities and engage in community return activities by sharing knowledge through lifelong learning-related events and volunteer activities such as talent donation.
The Lifelong Learning Institution (Organization) and Learning Club Excellent Program Support Project has been providing project funds annually through public contests since 2009 to promote the formation of learning communities and activate lifelong learning among citizens after Jinju City was designated as a lifelong learning city in 2007.
