Muan-gun 'Farmer Salary System' Support Project Extension Applications
Partial Contract Purchase Payment... Up to 2.5 Million KRW Support Per Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) is extending the application period for the Agricultural Workers' Salary System from the 5th to the 24th of this month.
According to Muan County on the 10th, the Agricultural Workers' Salary System is a project that provides a certain amount of the expected harvest income in the form of a monthly salary to farms cultivating rice, onions, and soybeans to stabilize farm management and support stable farming activities.
Eligibility for application includes farmers cultivating rice, onions, and soybeans who have signed shipment agreements with the Nonghyup (National Agricultural Cooperative Federation) or independently. Applicants wishing to apply must sign a purchase agreement with the local Nonghyup and submit the Agricultural Workers' Salary System application form to the town or township office.
The support scale for rice has been increased by 500,000 KRW from last year's maximum monthly payment of 2 million KRW, supporting up to 2.5 million KRW per month and up to 17.5 million KRW annually per farm, within 60% of the contracted amount.
