Kim Tae-woong Reappointed as President of the Korean Cultural Centers Association
Approved by the Ministry of Culture Today, Continuing as President Until March 2024
The Korean Cultural Center Association announced that Chairman Kim Tae-woong was reappointed on the 9th with the approval of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. His term is three years, until March 2024. Chairman Kim was elected as the 31st president of the association at the regular general meeting attended by local cultural center heads nationwide on the 24th of last month.

Born in Yecheon, Gyeongbuk, Chairman Kim graduated from Seoul High School and Sungkyunkwan University. He serves as the CEO of Younggun Industry and holds positions such as the head of the Seoul Jungnang Cultural Center. The Korean Cultural Center Association is a special corporation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with 230 local cultural centers as members. Founded in 1962, it aims to promote balanced development of local cultural centers and the advancement of regional culture.
