[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Sooyoung) is recruiting the ‘17th Dream Tree Children Reporters’ from the 11th to the 26th, who will help create the ‘Yangcheon Dream Tree Newsletter’ that provides customized district information such as education and cultural projects to elementary students and their parents.
The district publishes the ‘Yangcheon Dream Tree Newsletter’ quarterly to help children develop a correct understanding of their hometown and facilitate beneficial information exchange between schools.
The children reporters participate directly in everything from selecting newsletter sections to writing articles, and can also take part in various experiential activities during school vacations.
The ‘17th Dream Tree Children Reporters’ will be selected from 3rd to 6th grade students residing in Yangcheon-gu who attend elementary schools in the area, including Deungma, Deungchon, and Woljeong Elementary Schools, with 1 to 3 students selected per school, operating with a total of up to 70 members.
Applications are accepted until the 26th of this month, and the final selection results will be individually notified on the 9th of next month.
To provide equal opportunities to all students, open recruitment within the application period is prioritized, and schools with no applicants will receive recommendations from the school principal.
Students who wish to apply can download the application form from the district office website’s notice section, fill it out, and submit it via email to the person in charge (monica52@yangcheon.go.kr).
