Hwasun-gun Opens Applications for 'Marriage Incentive Fund' Starting the 10th
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 9th that it will start accepting applications for the 'Marriage Encouragement Grant,' which is promoted as part of its population policy, from the 10th.
The Marriage Encouragement Grant was introduced to respond to the decline in marriage rates among the younger generation, low birth rates, and to help stabilize the marriage life of the local young generation.
The support target is couples under the age of 49 who registered their marriage after the ordinance enforcement date (March 10 of last year).
Applicants must submit their own ID card, a copy of their bankbook, and a consent form for the collection and use of personal information of the applicant and their spouse (signed and sealed on the application form) along with the application.
The application form and submission document templates can be downloaded and completed from the Marriage Encouragement Grant-related post posted on the county office website's notice board.
Both men and women must meet the three support requirements to receive the Marriage Encouragement Grant, which are ▲ having their resident registration in the county and actually residing there before the marriage registration ▲ both being first-time married ▲ being under 49 years old as of the marriage registration date.
Even if married to a foreigner, if the child is born or nationality is acquired and the child or foreign spouse registers their residence (resident registration) in the county, they can apply.
After receiving the application, the applicant's marital status, resident registration, and residence facts will be verified to finalize the support recipients.
The support fund can be received up to a total of 10 million KRW, paid in five installments of 2 million KRW each, with 2 million KRW paid annually after the first payment.
