Orion Sponsors Dr. You Jeju Lava Water and Protein Balls at 'Oxfam Walk Virtual Walking Competition'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Orion announced on the 8th that it will sponsor products such as Dr. You Jeju Lava Water and protein balls for the donation campaign ‘Oxfam Walk’ to help impoverished women worldwide.
Oxfam Walk is a donation campaign where participants walk the ‘distance of survival’ that women and girls endure daily to obtain clean water, often traveling several kilometers, to experience the lives of those suffering from poverty firsthand.
Oxfam will accept registrations for the event until April 10, and will hold a two-week non-face-to-face walking event from April 24 to May 8. Actress Lee Ha-nee will participate as an ambassador, and 1,300 participants will receive packages containing Dr. You Jeju Lava Water, protein balls, and various other items to support their walking.
Dr. You Jeju Lava Water, which uses mineral-rich lava seawater as its source, is currently sold in three sizes: 330mL, 530mL, and 2L. Dr. You Protein Balls are chocolate ball-type nutritional snacks containing 12g of protein, equivalent to two eggs, in one pack.
Oxfam, which began in Oxford, UK in 1942, is an international federation consisting of 19 branches worldwide. Over the past 80 years, 12,000 employees have carried out programs in more than 90 countries, including water supply, sanitation, food aid, livelihood support, women’s protection, and education.

An Orion official said, “We sympathize with the campaign’s purpose of taking steps for women and girls, which is why we decided to support Oxfam Walk,” adding, “We believe this will also serve as an opportunity to reconsider the importance of clean water resources.”
