315 COVID-19 Cases as of 9 PM... Expected to Reach Mid-to-High 300s
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] As the spread of COVID-19 continues, new confirmed cases were reported nationwide on the 7th.
According to health authorities and local governments including Seoul City, from midnight to 9 p.m. on that day, a total of 315 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were recorded nationwide. This is 64 fewer than the 379 cases recorded at the same time the previous day.
By region, 227 cases were reported in the metropolitan area, and 88 cases in non-metropolitan areas.
By city and province, there were 115 cases in Gyeonggi, 97 in Seoul, 20 in Chungbuk, 15 in Incheon, 14 in Gwangju, 11 each in Busan and Chungnam, 10 in Gangwon, 6 in Daegu, 4 in Jeonbuk, 3 in Ulsan, 2 each in Sejong, Gyeongbuk, Jeonnam, and Jeju, and 1 in Gyeongnam.
