Goyang City announced on the 6th that "as of 4 PM, a total of 5 people have tested positive for COVID-19."
The source of infection includes 4 cases of family transmission, and the infection route of the remaining one is under investigation. All 5 cases reside in Deogyang-gu.
As of this date, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Goyang City is 2,230, with 2,148 confirmed cases among Goyang citizens.
◆ Dongducheon: 21 Additional Foreigners Test Positive for COVID-19
At the temporary screening clinic for foreigners in Dongducheon City, 21 people tested positive for COVID-19.
On the 6th, Dongducheon City stated, "Following 77 confirmed cases on the 2nd through citywide preemptive testing of foreigners, an additional 18 on the 3rd, 2 on the 4th, and 21 on the 5th have been confirmed, bringing the cumulative total to 118."
Thus, since the preemptive testing for foreigners in Dongducheon began on the 23rd of last month, the total number of confirmed foreign cases has increased to 146.
◆ Guri City to Install Fine Dust Blocking Screens at Childcare Facilities
Guri City is promoting a "Fine Dust Blocking Screen Installation Project" targeting local community child centers and daycare centers.
The city explained on the 6th, "Since the inflow of external harmful substances such as fine dust indoors can adversely affect the health of children vulnerable to respiratory diseases, this project aims to block such substances while facilitating easy natural ventilation indoors."
The city plans to install screens at 23 additional locations by the end of June and intends to expand the project based on future demand.

Yangju City will relocate the temporary screening clinic installed at Nam-myeon Geomjun Industrial Complex to the Gwangjeok temporary screening clinic from the 8th to the 12th.
This is a preemptive measure to prevent the spread of infection within foreigner-dense workplaces in the city and will operate from 10 AM to 1 PM.
The testing targets all foreign workers employed at 312 sites in Gyeongsin Industrial Complex, 23 sites in Demo Industrial Complex, and 76 sites in Bomegi Industrial Complex.
◆ Pocheon City Conducts Intensive Preemptive Testing for Foreign Workers
Pocheon City has designated the period until the 12th as an intensive testing period for foreign workers in local small and medium-sized enterprises and is conducting preemptive COVID-19 testing.
The testing targets 6,826 foreign workers who are Pocheon citizens or work at 1,726 companies in the city.
The clinic operates on weekdays from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (with lunch and disinfection from 12 PM to 1:30 PM), and to accommodate foreign workers who find it difficult to get tested on weekdays, testing is also available on weekends from 9:30 AM to 1 PM.
Additionally, a temporary screening clinic will be set up at Soheul-eup Health Center for night testing, operating from 7 PM to 9 PM from the 8th to the 12th.
◆ Namyangju City Conducts Preemptive Testing for Workers in Unregistered Factories
Namyangju City will provide free preemptive COVID-19 testing for all workers using dormitories in unregistered factories within the city until the 14th.
The city has sent official notices encouraging preemptive testing to approximately 4,000 unregistered factories and has strengthened cooperation to ensure immediate transfer of confirmed cases from the two operating temporary screening clinics.
