[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] The Seoul Business Agency (SBA) announced on the 5th that it is recruiting companies to participate in export consultation business matching through the online export platform 'TRADE ON.' The export consultation meeting with buyers from the United States and Thailand is scheduled for the end of April, and applications can be submitted through the TRADE ON website until the 16th.
The United States is recruiting in the medical quarantine sector, and Thailand in the beauty and hair care sector. SBA plans to match selected companies with verified buyers through prior buyer credit checks. Companies participating this time will be registered as TRADE ON members and can be promoted to premium companies after a promotion review in June this year.
Small and medium-sized enterprises participating in the export consultation meeting can receive support such as export advisory consultations, online education, and seminars as TRADE ON members. Members and premium members receive benefits supporting online export consultations, from individual online exhibition spaces to buyer credit report provision. Additionally, SBA plans to support premium companies with the 'Promising Core Export Company Development Project' in the second half of this year.
Meanwhile, SBA plans to conduct a total of 12 non-face-to-face export consultation meetings through TRADE ON this year. SBA will operate 7 sessions independently and 5 sessions jointly with related organizations. TRADE ON is a platform established by SBA to resolve difficulties faced by domestic SMEs when entering overseas markets and to respond to the post-COVID-19 era.
