Gwangju Social Welfare Meal Management Support Center Begins Meal Support for Senior Centers
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Gwangju Seo-gu Social Welfare Meal Management Support Center (hereinafter Seo-gu Center), managed by Chonnam National University, is set to support meal services at senior citizen centers.
According to Chonnam National University on the 5th, the Seo-gu Center signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Gwangju Seo-gu branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association on the 26th of last month. This year, they will support 39 senior citizen centers and 6 senior restaurants within Seo-gu that receive meal provision and meal assistant support.
The Seo-gu Center, entrusted by Seo-gu, Gwangju, provides support for healthy eating habits, proper hygiene, and food safety at senior meal facilities.
