According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 4th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the Gyeongbuk area increased by 7 (including 2 imported cases) from the previous day to 3,286 (including 68 imported cases).
The new confirmed cases by region are 2 each in Gumi City and Uiseong County, and 1 each in Pohang City, Gyeongju City, and Chilgok County. The confirmed cases in Gyeongju and Chilgok are imported cases.
The 4 new confirmed cases in Gumi City and Uiseong County are contacts of Gumi case number 370 and Uiseong case number 138, who were confirmed on the 1st and 2nd.
The infection route of the confirmed case in Pohang is unknown. In Gyeongju and Chilgok, individuals who entered from Asia were confirmed positive during entry testing or pre-release testing from self-quarantine.
