The Story of Yeongdeungpo Resident A's Surprise After Checking the Result of Their Civil Complaint at Home?
Operation of Online Notification Service for Land Transfer Processing Results... Receipt via Text, Email, Fax... Shortened Notification Period to Facilitate Property Rights Exercise... Registration Cost Reduction Effect... Applicable to Land Division, Merger, and Other Land Transfer Applications... Consent to Personal Information Use Required
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Chaehyun Il) is implementing the ‘Smart Non-face-to-face Civil Service Result Notification Service,’ which notifies civil service processing results online to promote COVID-19 prevention and improve the efficiency of civil service processing.
Recently, with the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic making non-face-to-face culture a daily norm across society and increasing demands for digital transformation in the civil service sector, notifying civil service results through an online system is expected to contribute to rapid and accurate information delivery and enhanced administrative convenience.
The district plans to improve convenience for residents by sending notifications via the method preferred by the civil service applicant, such as text message, email, or fax, instead of the previous method of postal mail.
The target service currently applies to land movement applications (such as division, merger, and land category changes), with plans to expand to all real estate-related civil services in the future.
With the introduction of the ‘Smart Non-face-to-face Result Notification Service,’ the notification period, which previously took an average of 3 to 5 days, is expected to be significantly shortened, greatly aiding not only the convenience of civil service applicants in exercising their property rights but also improving the work efficiency of the responsible staff.
Additionally, it is estimated that the service will reduce paper documents and save registered mail costs, resulting in a budget reduction effect of up to 94% compared to before its introduction.
Those who wish to use the Smart Non-face-to-face Result Notification Service can select their preferred method of receiving the processing result document when submitting the land movement application form.
Consent procedures for the collection and provision of personal information in accordance with Article 15 (Collection and Use of Personal Information) of the ‘Personal Information Protection Act’ are mandatory.
District office staff expressed great satisfaction with the introduction of the non-face-to-face civil service notification service, stating that civil service applicants can receive results quickly, minimizing face-to-face contact during the COVID-19 era and reducing the effort of sending registered mail one by one, making the work much easier and more satisfying for staff.
