Incheon Airport Corporation Selected as No.1 in SOC Facility Management Sector for 14 Consecutive Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 2nd that it was selected as the No. 1 company in the SOC facility management sector for 14 consecutive years in the '2021 Most Admired Companies in Korea' survey conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting.
This year, the corporation received high evaluations in social value and customer value among the six core values. In particular, it was recognized for establishing a smart quarantine system throughout the entire immigration process as the nation's representative gateway, realizing a safe airport for the public. Additionally, its efforts to realize social value, such as co-growth with the local community and airport ecosystem and job creation to overcome the COVID-19 crisis, were also highly praised.
The corporation plans to focus on ESG (environment, social, governance) values this year and expand social value investments and programs aimed at solving economic and environmental issues emphasized due to COVID-19.
