On the same day, a post claiming school violence, stating that the writer was verbally abused and bullied by Choi Yebin during middle school, was uploaded on an online community, causing controversy.
In response, Choi Yebin's agency, J Wide Company, released a statement saying, "We apologize for causing concern to many people due to unfavorable matters related to Choi Yebin."
The agency stated, "After the initial post was made, we first confirmed the facts with the actress herself. As a result, we found that the claims made by the writer were not true. We also checked with acquaintances around her, and all confirmed that the post's content was different from the facts."
They added, "We will do our best to prevent any further victims related to this matter."

After the initial post was made, we became aware of the content and first confirmed the facts with the actress herself. As a result, we found that the claims made by the writer were not true. Since it was difficult to confirm clearly based on the actress's memory alone, we also checked with acquaintances around her, all of whom confirmed that the content of the post was different from the facts.
We inform you that we will continue to do our best to prevent any further victims related to this matter.
Furthermore, we also inform you that we will take legal action against those who indiscriminately spread the content and those who intentionally create and share malicious rumors.
