View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Bo-ryeong] A poll released on the 1st showed that Ahn Cheol-soo, leader of the People’s Party, leads the People Power Party’s preliminary candidates Oh Se-hoon and Na Kyung-won in a hypothetical unification race for the Seoul mayoral candidate of the opposition.
According to a survey conducted by PNR Research on 804 Seoul citizens aged 18 and over on the 28th of last month, commissioned by Money Today, Gyeongnam Maeil, and the Future Korea Research Institute, Ahn led Na with 42.4% to 26.2% in a one-on-one race.
Ahn also showed an advantage over Oh with 41.1% to 26.1%.
In the People Power Party’s internal primary, Na received 26.9% and Oh 26.2% in a head-to-head contest.
In the Democratic Party’s internal primary, candidate Park Young-sun led with 43.1%, significantly ahead of candidate Woo Sang-ho at 18.3%.

This survey applied regional, age, and gender weighting based on the resident registration population data from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety as of the end of December last year.
