Agency JYP Entertainment announced on the 27th through the fan community, "Hyunjin will suspend all entertainment activities and reflect on himself."
The agency explained, "It took some time to coordinate with everyone involved in the already scheduled events to cancel activities in a way that minimizes damage."
They added, "He sincerely regrets and will reflect on the hurt caused to many people by his rough and inappropriate words during middle school."
Earlier, a netizen posted on an online community on the 22nd, introducing themselves as a middle school classmate of Hyunjin and claiming to have suffered verbal abuse and sexual harassment from him. Additional allegations of mockery, neglect, and bullying by Hyunjin during school days followed.
