COVID-19 Vaccination Begins at 14 Locations Including Nursing Hospitals and Care Facilities in Dongdaemun-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 26th, COVID-19 vaccination began in Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol).
Starting from the 26th, Dongdaemun-gu will sequentially vaccinate 1,197 people at 8 nursing hospitals, and from March 8th, vaccinations will be conducted at the Dongdaemun-gu Public Health Center for 138 people at 6 nursing facilities.
At 9:30 AM on the 26th, in Dongdaemun-gu, Choi Chang-rak, the director of Wangsimni Hyu Nursing Hospital (88 Muhak-ro, Dongdaemun-gu), was the first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, followed by the hospital staff who were vaccinated in turn.
The hospital staff and 218 inpatients will continue to be vaccinated from that day until next week.
Choi Chang-rak, director of Wangsimni Hyu Nursing Hospital and the first vaccine recipient in Dongdaemun-gu, said after receiving the vaccine, "It did not feel different from receiving other vaccines," and added, "The difficult times due to COVID-19 continue, but I hope many people get vaccinated soon so that COVID-19 can be overcome."
