The briefing session was conducted for about 40 people, including village chiefs of Geochang-eup, in the order of analyzing the conditions for the construction of the family center, project overview, and collecting residents' opinions.
By next year, with an investment of 7.7 billion KRW, the family center, national and public daycare center, Dahamkke Care Center, joint childcare sharing space, and multipurpose exchange and communication space will be constructed on the site of the former Seohung Passenger Terminal, consisting of three floors above ground and one basement floor.
Once the family center is built, it is expected to play a leading role in balanced regional development by installing public facilities in the Gangnam area, establish a one-stop integrated family service support system by providing convenience facilities and various programs for residents, and contribute to job creation and population increase.
