[2021 Asia Fund Awards] Mirae Asset Global Investments Grand Prize
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] Mirae Asset Global Investments was honored with the Grand Prize at the 12th Asia Fund Awards, hosted by Asia Economy in collaboration with financial information company FnGuide.
This year’s Fund Awards were organized to review the performance of asset management companies that competed fiercely to promote a sound investment culture despite the challenging financial investment environment caused by increased volatility in the capital markets and heightened risk asset investment sentiment due to COVID-19 last year. The awards also aimed to recognize their hard work based on the results.
Mirae Asset Global Investments, the Grand Prize winner, received high scores across all sectors including equities, bonds, exchange-traded funds (ETF), ESG, and retirement pensions. Major asset management companies and securities firms were selected for the Best Asset Manager Award, Best Fund Award, and Best Distributor Award. The winners were chosen through a rigorous evaluation by a panel of judges composed of experts from the financial investment industry, regulatory authorities, and academia. The event was sponsored by the Financial Services Commission, Financial Supervisory Service, and Korea Financial Investment Association.
