View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] Oh Se-hoon, the preliminary candidate of the People Power Party running for the Seoul mayoral by-election, criticized Park Young-sun, the Democratic Party primary candidate, saying she is "not sufficiently prepared."
In a phone interview on the morning of the 25th with BBS Radio's 'Park Kyung-soo's Morning Journal,' Oh responded to the question, "Which ruling party candidate do you find more concerning?" by saying, "It is clear that Candidate Park is ahead," and added, "Even though she has run once or twice, I judge that she is not sufficiently prepared."
He mentioned Park's 'vertical garden' pledge, explaining, "When introducing the pledge, I heard her say 'Why 21?' and she replied 'because it's the 21st century,'" and added, "I cannot shake the impression that it was prepared romantically rather than through professional analysis."
He also said, "Kim Jin-ae, the preliminary candidate of the Open Democratic Party, also evaluated Park's vertical garden pledge as something like an 'SF movie.'"
Earlier, on the 22nd, Oh expressed displeasure over Woo Sang-ho, the Democratic Party primary candidate, comparing Park's 'vertical garden' to the 'Sebitseom' floating islands that Oh promoted during his tenure as Seoul mayor.
Through Facebook, he stated, "Woo Sang-ho preliminary candidate compared Sebitseom, one of the landmarks of the successful Hangang Renaissance, to Park Young-sun's vertical garden in an unworthy manner," and emphasized, "It cannot be compared to Park's SF movie-like vertical garden."
On the same day, Oh also criticized Park's pledge on 'land leasehold housing supply.' Park had announced a real estate pledge to "supply half-priced apartments at 10 million won per pyeong through the land leasehold method."

He pointed out the impracticality, saying, "Land leasehold housing requires land owned by the Seoul city government, but in reality, there is almost none," and added, "They plan to build up to about 15,000 households, but it seems they have not even confirmed the existence of land sufficient to build 300,000 land leasehold houses."
