[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song) held the '2021 Gangseo-gu Lifelong Education Council' on the morning of the 24th at the district office's large conference room.
The Gangseo-gu Lifelong Education Council is an organization that discusses development plans for a sustainable lifelong learning city, consisting of 10 members including Mayor Noh Hyun-song and lifelong education experts.
This meeting proceeded in the order of the appointment ceremony for three new members, the 2021 lifelong education promotion implementation plan, and the review of the Gangseo Lifelong Learning Campus operating institutions.
The council members shared the direction for promoting lifelong education projects this year and discussed ways to activate lifelong learning.

Mayor Noh Hyun-song said, "The non-face-to-face lectures conducted last year to prevent COVID-19 became a good opportunity to expand residents' participation in lifelong learning," adding, "We will continue to provide diverse and specialized lifelong education programs utilizing both face-to-face and non-face-to-face methods."
