Kim Tae-heon (59), CEO of Hanbit Media, will oversee all operations as the head of the Korea Publishers Association.
At the regular general meeting on the 23rd, Kim was elected as the 12th president of the Korea Publishers Association. His term is two years.
President Kim has been serving as the CEO of Hanbit Media since 1993. Within the Korea Publishers Association, he has held positions such as Chair of the Electronic Publishing Committee and Auditor. He pledged, "I will strive to strengthen the competitiveness of publishing content and the future growth engine of the publishing industry, foster strong small and medium-sized publishing companies, promote the export of publishing copyrights, and expand the base of reading culture." He added, "I will ensure that publishing and books establish themselves as core content leading the future."
