Jangseong-gun Resumes Sales of 'Jangseong Sarang Gift Certificates' Starting the 25th
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong County, Jeonnam (Governor Yoo Doo-seok) announced on the 23rd that it will resume the sale of the local currency 'Jangseong Sarang Gift Certificate,' which was temporarily suspended to ensure the smooth payment of the COVID-19 emergency disaster relief fund, starting from the 25th.
The county plans to promote the revitalization of the local economy by offering a 10% discount on the gift certificates until they are sold out.
Additionally, to prevent hoarding and fraudulent claims of the gift certificates and to ensure that many residents benefit, the sales limit per person will be reduced from the previous 1 million won to 500,000 won.
The newly introduced card-type Jangseong Sarang Gift Certificate will be launched on the 5th of next month.
